To expand our derivatives product offering and better serve the diverse investment needs of our users, Bitget listed the MINIMAX Quanto Perpetual Futures — MINIMAXHKDUSDT — on July 21, 2026 (UTC+8).

MINIMAX

The company develops multimodal generative AI models spanning text, speech, and vision, built entirely from the ground up. Its inference infrastructure is powered by large-scale GPU server clusters. Beyond providing enterprise customers with API access to its large models, MiniMax also develops and operates consumer-facing mobile social applications centered on AI-driven interaction, delivering real-time content generation services through cloud-based computing resources.

About Bitget Quanto Perpetual Futures
Bitget Quanto Perpetual Futures enable users to gain exposure to non-USD-denominated overseas equities — including Hong Kong and Japanese-listed stocks — directly using USDT, with no requirement to convert foreign currencies at any stage. While the futures contracts are quoted in the local currency of the underlying market (such as HKD or JPY), all margin deposits and profit/loss settlements are denominated and processed entirely in USDT, effectively eliminating currency exchange risk.

What Are Quanto Futures?
In essence, Quanto Futures are contracts in which the underlying asset is priced in one currency while margin and profit/loss are settled in another. Using the MINIMAX contract as an illustration: Hong Kong-listed MINIMAX shares are quoted in HKD, but for the purposes of margin calculation and P&L settlement, the system applies a fixed 1:1 conversion to USDT — no foreign exchange transaction is involved at any point.

Illustrative Example (MINIMAX Quanto Futures)
The price movements of this futures track the underlying stock on a one-to-one basis, with all settlement conducted in USDT rather than HKD. User A opens a long position of 10 MINIMAXHKD futures at an average entry price of 200, then closes the position when the price rises to 300.
1.Trading Fee (Rate: 0.04%)
Trading Fee = Notional Position Value × Fee Rate = 200 × 10 × 0.04% = 0.8 USDT. A trading fee of 0.8 USDT is charged upon opening the position.
2.Funding Fee (Rate: 0.01%)
Funding Fee = Notional Position Value × Funding Rate = 200 × 10 × 0.01% = 0.2 USDT. A funding fee of 0.2 USDT is charged per funding interval.
3.Maintenance Margin (Margin Rate: 1%)
Maintenance Margin = Notional Position Value × Margin Rate = 200 × 10 × 1% = 20 USDT. A minimum maintenance margin of 20 USDT must be maintained in the account throughout the holding period; failure to do so will trigger liquidation.
4.Realized P&L
P&L = (Close Price − Open Price) × Number of Contracts = (300 − 200) × 10 = 1,000 USDT. Upon closing the position, 1,000 USDT is settled directly into the futures account.
The figures above are for illustrative purposes only. Please refer to actual trades for specific values.
