The US dollar strengthens, causing emerging market currencies to give up their gains for the yearGolden Ten Data reported on July 1 that as market speculation about higher U.S. interest rates fueled a rebound in the U.S. dollar, emerging market currencies have erased all their gains for the year. The MSCI Emerging Markets Currency Index fell by 0.2%. The index is now virtually flat for the year and is heading toward its lowest closing level since April 7. There is mounting concern in the market that the Federal Reserve may take a more hawkish stance under Waller's leadership, triggering a recent widespread decline in the currencies of developing countries. Waller is expected to speak later today at the European Central Bank conference in Sintra, Portugal, alongside peers from Europe and the UK. Among emerging markets, Asian currencies led the declines. As foreign investors net sold 1.46 trillion Korean won (around $938 million) in stocks, the Korean won depreciated to its lowest level since 2009.

TRON Nile testnet launches quantum-resistant upgradeOdaily reported that the TRON Nile testnet has launched a quantum-resistant upgrade and released the mandatory upgrade version GreatVoyage-v4.8.2-PQ1-build1. This version introduces post-quantum signature capabilities for the first time, supporting two signature algorithms: Falcon-512 and ML-DSA-44, further advancing TRON's technical exploration and capability verification in the field of quantum-resistant security. According to the official statement, these capabilities can be applied to transaction signatures, SR block signatures, P2P relay node handshakes, and TVM contract signature verification scenarios. TRON reminds developers who have already deployed Nile testnet nodes to complete the version upgrade as soon as possible. At the same time, the related new features must be approved through proposal voting before they can officially take effect on the Nile testnet; enabling the function on the testnet does not mean the mainnet will be updated simultaneously.

World Gold Council: Gold is a truly global asset, with structural demand supporting its resilience```htmlGolden Ten Data reported on July 1st that JuanCarlosArtigas, Americas CEO and Global Head of Research at the World Gold Council, stated that the gold market has delivered a clear message this year: gold is truly a global asset. Gold prices reflect macroeconomic and geopolitical dynamics on a worldwide scale, not just limited to the United States, which is one of the reasons why gold offers investors a valuable perspective. Interest rates are certainly important, and we expect them to become one of the key variables in the second half of the year, but gold's performance is not driven by a single factor. This year, gold prices faced pressure around $4,000/ounce, but also rebounded at times, mainly supported by endogenous demand from long-term investors in multiple regions. Structural demand from global central banks, institutional investors, and consumers forms the foundation for gold’s resilience.```
