Trump: No longer considers Anthropic a national security threatAccording to Odaily, U.S. President Trump stated that after meeting with Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei during the G7 summit, he no longer views Anthropic as a national security threat. Previously, there were disagreements between the two sides regarding the severity of the “jailbreak” vulnerabilities in the Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5 models. On June 12, the U.S. Department of Commerce implemented export control measures, restricting relevant models from being accessed by foreign technical personnel. Afterwards, the White House, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Office of the National Cyber Director, and Anthropic held multiple rounds of discussions on security standards for large models, and began establishing a technical framework to assess model vulnerability risks and the boundaries for government intervention. Trump stated that Anthropic has actively complied with rectification requirements, and emphasized that the top current priority for the U.S. remains maintaining its competitive advantage over China in the field of artificial intelligence. He also said he does not wish to limit the development of the domestic AI industry by shutting down or taking over companies. However, he noted that if necessary, emergency executive powers such as the Defense Production Act are not ruled out for regulatory purposes. As of June 2026, Anthropic’s annual recurring revenue reached $4.7 billion, with a valuation of approximately $96.5 billion, and the company has already submitted a listing application. (Axios)

Zodiac releases security incident report, ERC-1271 verification flaw previously allowed attackers to bypass module authenticationChainCatcher reported that the Zodiac team has released an analysis report on a security incident affecting Zodiac Roles Modifier, disclosing that the root cause of the vulnerability lies in a flaw in the ERC-1271 transaction signature verification logic: the system determines signature validity solely based on the returned “magic value” without verifying whether the call itself was successful, which can result in failed verifications being disguised as valid signatures, thus bypassing the module’s authentication mechanism.
