On Thursday (July 2), the US stock market storage chip and hardware supply chain index plummeted by 10.32% to 218.59 points, with a cumulative decline of 11.21% this week.

On Thursday, all constituent stocks suffered losses across the board: SanDisk closed down more than 14.1%, Teradyne fell more than 13.6%, Seagate Technology, Lam Research, and Western Digital dropped about 10%, while Rambus, Applied Materials, and Micron Technology also declined by 8.81%–5.49%.
