Omani Foreign Minister: Does Not Support Charging Fees for the Hormuz Strait Passage
BlockBeats News, June 29th - On June 29th local time, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs released relevant content of an interview with Foreign Minister Badr. Badr stated that Oman has always been committed to ensuring a safe, peaceful, and free navigation environment in the Strait of Hormuz for all parties. He pointed out that Oman and Iran have reached a consensus in the existing dialogue, and any future arrangements regarding the Strait of Hormuz must be conducted within the framework of international law. In response to external concerns about toll fees, Badr stated that Oman does not support charging tolls to passing ships. However, he did not rule out the possibility of discussing maritime service-related mechanisms. Badr said that discussions could focus on enhancing navigation safety, improving maritime accident emergency response capabilities, and preventing marine pollution, drawing on practices related to other straits. He stated that such arrangements would be developed through consultations with countries and shipping companies using the Strait of Hormuz, aiming to enhance maritime services, ensure navigation safety, and not impose new burdens on global trade. 14 million barrels of stranded Iraqi oil shipped out through the Strait of Hormuz
```htmlGolden Ten Data reported on June 29 that Iraqi oil, which had been stranded due to the Middle East conflict, has been successfully shipped out of the Persian Gulf over the past 10 days. This is thanks to the fragile ceasefire between the US and Iran, which has eased passage through the Strait of Hormuz. According to tanker tracking data compiled by Bloomberg, vessels carrying about 14 million barrels of Iraqi oil left the Persian Gulf in late June and are currently delivering crude to buyers in Asia, Europe, and the US. This means an average daily shipment of approximately 1.4 million barrels over a 10-day period. Data shows that all cargo loaded since late February and previously stranded in the Persian Gulf has now started its journey to its final destination.```
Analysts: BTC is evolving from a reserve asset into a core liquidity source supporting the capital structure of Strategy
According to Odaily, CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler stated that Bitcoin remains a core reserve asset. However, in practical terms, BTC has functionally shifted to become an important source of liquidity supporting the complex capital structure of Strategy ($MSTR). Axel Adler pointed out that as Strategy continues to leverage Bitcoin-related assets for financing and capital management, Bitcoin’s role is evolving from being merely a reserve of value to serving as a key liquidity infrastructure within the company’s capital operations system.
