Bitget to adjust the maximum futures leverage of new users' sub-accounts

To maintain a fair and healthy trading environment and further safeguard users' assets, Bitget has introduced a new leverage rule for certain futures trading pairs affecting new users and their sub-accounts.
The details are as follows:
1. Effective time
February 11, 2026, 12:00 AM (UTC+8)
2. Scope of impact and rule details
This rule applies only to main accounts created after the effective time above and their associated sub-accounts. The restriction details are as follows:

Leverage limits for sub-accounts on certain futures pairs: For main accounts signed up on or after February 11, 2026, all sub-accounts created under them will have their maximum leverage capped at 5x, except for the futures trading pairs listed in the unrestricted futures list below.

Main accounts remain unaffected: This restriction applies only to sub-accounts. Futures trading leverage and all other features in the main account remain unaffected and will continue to follow Bitget's standard rules.

Automatic restriction removal: For affected sub-accounts, the 5x leverage limit on the specified futures trading pairs will be automatically lifted seven days after the main account's signup, restoring the leverage limit to the standard maximum for each trading pair.
Note: Users who signed up before February 11, 2026, are not affected by this policy (including both main accounts and sub-accounts).
3. Unrestricted futures list
The following futures trading pairs are exempt from the 5x leverage limit on sub-accounts. Trading of these pairs in sub-accounts will follow the platform's standard rules:
