Common Questions About Bitget Stock+
[Estimated reading time: 5 minutes]
This article provides an overview of Bitget Stock+, including account opening, deposits and withdrawals, trading, shareholder rights, and stock transfers.
About the product
1. What is Bitget Stock+?
Bitget Stock+ is a U.S. stock trading service offered by Bitget. In partnership with U.S.-licensed brokers RQD Clearing and Atomic Vaults Securities, orders are routed to Nasdaq, the NYSE, and regulated market makers for execution, providing access to deep market liquidity. Users can buy, sell, and hold real U.S. stocks in the Bitget app while enjoying full shareholder rights, including cash dividends, stock dividends, and voting rights.
2. What's the difference between Bitget Stock+ and rTokens (stock tokens)?
The key difference lies in the underlying assets and ownership rights:
Bitget Stock+: Corresponds to real stocks held in custody by a regulated broker. Users own genuine U.S. stock assets and enjoy full shareholder rights (cash/stock dividends, voting rights, etc.).
rToken: An on-chain token that tracks the price of a U.S. stock and represents a tokenized beneficial interest, backed 1:1 by stocks held in custody by a licensed broker. Ownership is in the form of an on-chain token, not direct shareholding through a traditional brokerage account.
3. Does Bitget hold a brokerage license?
Bitget Stock+ services are provided by Parsa Financial Services Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of the Bitget Group. Parsa is a licensed financial services provider in South Africa (license number FSP 52563), regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
The business is conducted by Parsa in partnership with U.S.-licensed brokers RQD Clearing and Atomic Vaults Securities. All user stock assets are held in independent custody by U.S. clearing broker RQD Clearing. Client assets are strictly segregated from the platform's own funds, and all operations comply with the applicable regulatory frameworks in South Africa and the United States.
Account opening management
1. Do I need to open a separate account to use Bitget Stock+? What are the requirements?
Yes. You will need to open a securities sub-account to access Bitget Stock+. However, the system will reuse the advanced identity verification information you have already completed on the Bitget platform, so you do not need to resubmit any documents.
All users outside of restricted countries/regions are eligible to open an account.
2. What is the relationship between a Bitget Stock+ account and my main Bitget account?
Your Bitget Stock+ account is an independent sub-account under your main Bitget account.
The two accounts operate with separate asset management: you'll need to transfer funds from your main account to your Stock+ sub-account before trading U.S. stocks. Sub-account assets are tracked independently and do not affect other services on your main account.
3. Can I trade U.S. stocks using multiple currencies directly?
USDC and USD two-way conversion is supported for deposits and withdrawals. Other cryptocurrencies or fiat currencies are not supported.
The Bitget Stock+ account uses USD as its settlement and pricing currency, and all U.S. stock trades are conducted in USD.
Deposits funds
1. How do I deposit funds into my Bitget Stock+ account?
If your main account has no USDC:
• Deposit – Deposit crypto assets to your Bitget main account.
• Convert – Convert your assets to USDC within your main account.
• Transfer – Transfer USDC from your main account to your Bitget Stock+ securities account and start trading.
If your main account already has USDC:
• Transfer – Transfer USDC from your main account to your Bitget Stock+ securities account and start trading.
2. Is fiat deposit supported? Is there a minimum deposit requirement?
Yes. Users can convert fiat to USDC via Bitget's Quick Buy, P2P trading, and other fiat on-ramp channels, then transfer to their Bitget Stock+ account. There is no minimum deposit requirement.
3. Can I withdraw to a bank account? Are there fees for deposits and withdrawals?
Yes. The typical flow is: Stock+ sub-account USDC → transfer back to main account → convert to fiat via the fiat withdrawal channel → withdraw to your personal bank account. (Refer to official product rules upon launch for specifics.)
Main account ↔ Stock+ sub-account USDC internal transfer: Free
Fiat deposit/withdrawal service provider fees: Vary by payment method and provider.
Transactions fees
1. Which U.S. stocks can I trade? Are trading hours the same as the U.S. market?
At launch, 10,000+ U.S. stocks ETFs are available (subject to the product page for the latest list), with more stocks to be added over time.
Trading hours align fully with Nasdaq and NYSE, with real-time access to live market data.
2. What are the transaction fees? Is there a minimum transaction amount?
Standard transaction fee starts from 0.1%. A 50% promotional discount applies through August 31, 2026 (subject to the product page for the latest details).
The minimum transaction amount is subject to official rules upon product launch. A reasonable threshold is typically set to ensure a good trading experience.
3. Are there position limits or day trading restrictions?
There are no restrictions. You are free to day trade without any restrictions.
Shareholder rights
1. Will I receive dividends from U.S. stocks? Do I have voting rights?
Yes, dividends are distributed based on your actual shareholding. Cash dividends are credited directly to your Bitget Stock+ account.
You also have the corresponding shareholder voting rights. The method of exercising these rights (e.g., proxy voting) is subject to Bitget Stock+ product rules and notifications.
What happens in the event of a stock split, reverse split, or merger/acquisition?
When a corporate action occurs (including stock splits, reverse splits, mergers/acquisitions, etc.), the number of shares or the market value in your Bitget Stock+ account will be automatically adjusted at the corresponding ratio. No manual action is required on your end.
2. Are my U.S. stock assets safe?
Yes. Users' stock assets are held in custody by a regulated partner broker and are strictly segregated from Bitget's own funds. They are protected under the applicable regulatory framework.
3. How are U.S. stock dividends distributed? Are they credited automatically? Do I need to do anything?
Bitget Stock+ supports the following dividend distribution methods. Both are processed automatically by U.S. clearing broker RQD Clearing, with no action required on your part.
Cash dividends: The most common form. After a dividend is paid, the net amount after applicable taxes will be automatically credited to the available USD balance in your U.S. stock account.
Stock dividends: Some companies may distribute additional shares instead of cash. When the stock dividend is credited, your position will automatically increase accordingly.
Stock transfers
1. Can I transfer stocks from another broker to Bitget Stock+?
Yes. Bitget Stock+ supports stock transfers from traditional brokers. Simply submit a transfer request within your Bitget Stock+ account and provide the relevant information about your current broker and holdings to initiate the transfer. For detailed steps and important notes, refer to the official guide upon product launch.
2. Is the transfer free? How long does it take? Can I trade during the transfer?
Bitget side: Receiving transfers is free.
Original broker side: Some brokers may charge a transfer fee — check with your current broker in advance.
Timeframe: Typically 3–7 working days, depending on the processing speed of the original broker.
3. Which U.S. stocks support transfers?
In principle, mainstream stocks listed on Nasdaq and NYSE are supported. For the specific list, refer to the real-time support list on the Bitget Stock+ product page.
