Position grid upgraded to the "Full-cycle" grid bot

To provide a simpler and more consistent trading bot experience, we are upgrading the spot position grid and futures position grid. Details are as follows:

What's new

The position grid will no longer exist as a standalone bot type and will instead be officially integrated into the grid bot as the "Full-cycle" risk preference. The number of AI bot risk preference options for grid bots will also increase from three to four with the addition of "Full-cycle," as detailed below.

The "Full-cycle" grid (formerly position grid) uses a backtesting period of 180 or 360 days, with broader parameter settings and lower grid density, aiming to generate stable, long-term arbitrage returns across complete market cycles.

Impact on users

① The position grid bot creation entry will be moved to the grid bot

After the upgrade, the "Position grid" option will no longer appear on the bot creation page in the app or on the web. To use similar features, select "AI bot" and the "Full-cycle" risk preference when creating a grid bot.

② Existing position grid bots will remain completely unaffected, and no action is required

Users' position grid bots (spot/futures) that are currently running, paused, or holding positions will continue to operate normally. All management features—including viewing details, pausing, and stopping—will remain unchanged, as will how bots are displayed on the list and details pages.

③ Changes to the "Create another" redirect

For existing position grid bots, selecting "Create another" will redirect users to the corresponding grid bot creation page (spot grid/futures grid). We recommend selecting "Full-cycle" for the closest parameter combination.
