Updating Bitget KYC Verification Requirements
To better protect users' rights and interests, comply with regulatory requirements in the global cryptocurrency sector, and create a secure cryptocurrency trading environment, Bitget will be adjusting its KYC verification requirements, which will take effect from September 1, 2023, as follows:
- Starting from September 1, 2023, 12:00 AM (UTC+8), all newly signed-up users:
Must complete level 1 KYC verification to access various services on Bitget, including, but not limited to, the deposit and trading of digital assets.
- Users who signed up before September 1, 2023, 12:00 AM (UTC+8):
You must complete level 1 KYC verification before October 1, 2023, 12:00 AM (UTC+8). Between September 1 and October 1, users who have not yet completed level 1 KYC verification, will still be able to deposit, withdraw, and trade as usual. However, starting from October 1, users who have not completed level 1 KYC verification will only be able to withdraw, cancel orders, redeem subscriptions, and close positions, being restricted from creating new trading orders.
Ensure that you complete level 1 KYC verification as soon as possible, to prevent any potential restrictions in trading and other services.
Friendly reminder:
Know-your-customer (KYC) verification is a set of procedures used by financial institutions and other regulated organizations to verify your identity. Bitget will verify your identity for risk assessment purposes, thereby reducing risks for both parties involved. To complete level 1 verification, access KYC verification on your User Profile.
