The crypto market experienced a broad decline, with BTC falling below $77,000, while only the DeFi and SocialFi sectors remained relatively resilient.
Foresight News reports that, according to SoSoValue data, the crypto market saw a general decline. Bitcoin (BTC) fell by 1.19%, dropping below $77,000; Ethereum (ETH) fell by 2.71%, dropping below $2,200. Only the DeFi and SocialFi sectors remained relatively resilient, rising by 1.18% and 2.40% respectively in 24 hours. Within the DeFi sector, Block Street (BSB) rose by 42.25%, Hyperliquid (HYPE) increased by 10.51%. In the SocialFi sector, Toncoin (TON) was up 4.12%.
All other sectors recorded declines: the CeFi sector was down 1.17% in 24 hours, with a certain exchange Coin (BNB) down 1.07%; the Layer1 sector fell 1.46%, while Zcash (ZEC) surged 5.22% during the session; the Layer2 sector dropped 1.70%, with Optimism (OP) down 3.18%; the PayFi sector fell 1.78%, but Telcoin (TEL) was up 1.55%; the Meme sector declined by 1.94%, while Binance Life defied the trend with a 6.47% increase; and the AI sector decreased 7.91%, though Billions Network (BILL) surged 14.06% against the trend. Crypto sector indices reflecting historical market trends showed the ssiSocialFi and ssiDeFi indices rose by 3.26% and 2.49% respectively, while the ssiAI index fell 7.91%.
